Note:
Another school girl's map, very large (two sheet). Probably used Matthew Carey's Map of the British Possessions in North America (1804 ed.) which is smaller than this map but has all the same place names and legends. However, our young cartographer had to figure out the U.S. part of her map by consulting other maps (Carey's does not go that far south) and it is not clear which maps she used - she shows some interesting trails in the states which we can't find on other maps. Overall, an impressive production, somewhat crude in the lettering, but a big effort. Map in outline color.
