Relief shown by formlines and spot heights. Date estimated. Also includes view of mechanical lithographic press of H. Voirin of Paris "vue d'une presse mecanique lithographique de H. Voirin a Paris". Includes lit of purchasers. Erhard Schieble (1821-1880) was a German-French engraver and mapmaker, born in Forchhelm, Baden Germany and naturalized in France in 1870. He seems to have been active in Paris as early as the late 1840s. H. Voirin is Henri Voirin ((1827-1887), an inventor and manufacturer of Lithgraphic presses in Paris.
