Publication Note: The first American Geography. Revised from the school text "Geography Made Easy", published in 1784. Governor William Livingston of New Jersey contributed to the text, and Morse in return dedicated the book to him (Felcone). The two maps were engraved by Amos Doolittle who compiled the map of the northern states, while Joseph Purcell compiled the southern states map. Includes the errata leaf and the tipped in leaf of corrections at the end. Bound in full leather with "Morse's Geography" in gilt on spine.
