Additional artists in the family includehis mother Alfoncita Roybal, aunt TonitaRoybal, uncle Crecencio Martinez, uncle Juan and sister Santana Martinez(the daughter-in-law of Julian Martinez head of another artistic family). Was the leader of the San Ildefonsoartists.
