fragment comes from the dalmatic, one of the famous vestments of San Valero, from the Cathedral of Lerida, now in the Barcelona Museum. According to documentary evidence, these vestments were bought in Tarragona in 1279 and given to the church of San Vincent, Roda (near Lerida) and dedicated to San Valero. (Adolph Loewi, Los Angeles).
