Artist's inscriptions, signatures, and 16 seals:C. "Boating in spring water is like sailing in the sky" [from a poem by Lu Yu, 1125-1210]. While painting this, I thought of the quotation and thus recorded it. The third month of the chia-tzu year [1684]. Shih-piao [seal] Erh-chan. [seal, upper right] Shih-piao.2 colophons and 12 additional seals: 1 colophon and 1 seal of Ma Yüeh-kuan (1688-1755); 1 colophon, dated 1759, and 1 seal of Huang Ts'ou; 2 seals of Liu Hai-su (20th c.)
