Subject Description:
A mother and a little boy look up toward an iron kettle which has taken wings and is flying above them. At the left is a mortar and pestle and at the right the shoji may be seen mended with scraps of paper on which are written 'Tonda' (flying), 'Chagama'(tea kettl e).
