Subject Description:

These vessels of a variety of shapes are covered with a wavy pattern of narrow bands of sumptuous gold juxtaposed with bands of deep purples, blues, greens, and golden browns. Gold-band mosaic alabastra were sealed by tall, colored glass stoppers, which also fundtioned as applicators.
