rosewood with marquetry of various woods, and ivory; two front legs with bulbous feet, fluted columnar legs tapering outward from bottom to top and surmounted by Ionic capitals; fluted block square in section above capital; back legs square in section, flare to s eat and rise in intricately turned and carved back posts; upholstered medallion center back supported by top and bottom rail, both with central decoration; crest of lotus blossom and two heads resembling those of swans surmounted inlaid oval depicting two flutes, a pipe, music book and flower; modern upholstery fabric
