The second edition, this copy with beautiful and rare full period color (most copies have outline color). There are several changes to Michigan and the northern parts of Indiana and Illinois. Map is edged in blue silk, dissected into 60 sections and mounted on linen. Full color by state; outline color by territory. Folds with brown marbled end sheets into the original half leather marbled paper covered boards 22.5x17.5 with ties, title is embossed on the spine in gold reading "Tanner's United States."
