A triumph of Austrian/German engraving. First 20 sheets done in 1856 - see Pub List No 0879.000. However this set also includes them. Adjacent 27 sheets done in 1871. With an index map of the fist 20 sheets entitled, "Uibersichts - Blatt." Scheda lived from 1815-1888 (Phillips) and did a Hand Atlas in 1879 with A. Steinhauser (Phillips 6201). Outline color.
