Alleb’s map of Schoolcraft expedition, 1832 -- Location map and Paved roads to Itasca State Park. It is filled with humorous vignettes and notations. Shows lakes, roads, highways, gravel roads, foot paths, wildlife, rivers, forests, Native Americans settlements, some historical events, and recreational activities. Includes title cartouche, legend, text, statistical data and 3 color views. Relief shown pictorially. Map was issued over a period of years often with the same copyright date with minor alterations, in this 1956 edition, also in 1939 edition state route 92 is marked to the right of the Headwaters Mississippi. On another map issued in 1939 State route 92 is marked just to the right of the title cartouche at top center and the absence of Headwaters Mississippi River on the map.
