Pub Note:
Interesting city plan of the center of Mexico City, on which the plan of the Aztec temple area of Tenochtitlan has been overlaid in red. "Nota. La lineas y nombres en rojo indican la Ciudad pre-hispánica (México-Tenochtitlan). Las lineas y nombres en negro indican la ciudad moderna." The map is taken from Ignacio Alcocer's book entitled Apuntes sobre la antigua México-Tenochtitlán, which seems to be very scarce Ignacio Alcocer Rodriguez was the Governor of Coahuila from April 13th- November 1913 taking over from Venustiano Carranza. He was also Secretary of the Interior (Mexico) from 1913 to 1914. His book covers Aztec and Mesoamerican culture and artifacts.
