Publication Note: 1st edition, with "Hydrographer to H.R.H. the Prince of Wales" in the title. Four separate sheets dissected and mounted on linen. Boundary of Texas follows Humboldt's boundary lines. Differences between this edition and the last: two groups of islands are identified in the last edition, not present here: Lobos, and Otter I., both off the coast of California; various roads and new towns to the north and east of Mexico City; and the Boundary mentioned above as well as the Adams-Onis treaty line. Label of Ch. Picquet on the verso of each sheet. Map in outline color.
