Publication Reference: Haskell 765.

Publication Note: Haskell shows editions of 1824, 1826, 1828/29, 1833, 1838, and 1842. Compared to the 1828/29 edition, the listing of churches and public buildings has been expanded and the map shows new development in the northern parts of the city. For some unexplained reason, Hooker has dropped the appellation "Hydrographer" and is now just "Engraver." Map is folded into red leather covers 12x7.5 with "Hooker's Plan of New York" stamped in gilt.
